The hook has a sagittal slot (5) defined by a lateral wall (9) and extending parallel to an extension direction of a traversing bore (4), where the hook is made by injection of synthesis material. The slot has a retaining unit retaining the rope for locking the hook on the rope at the desired level of the length of the rope. A lower end of the wall is equipped with projections (11) directed towards an interior of the slot and defining a narrowing zone of the slot. The projections oppose untimely withdrawal of the rope end outside the slot, after the rope is locked in the slot.
