A T-DMB channel reception system and a method thereof are provided to perform auto setup to a broadcasting service corresponding to a region when a user moves to a service zone of the region while receiving a DMB broadcasting. A GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver extracts current region position information. A memory(31,32) stores region broadcasting channel information of each broadcasting station corresponding to each region. If region frequency variation is generated, a controller(30) maps a region frequency corresponding to the current region position information into DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) broadcasting channel information. If the mapped DMB broadcasting channel information is searched in the memory, the controller resets a DMB broadcasting channel signal through the searched DMB broadcasting channel information. |
