PURPOSE:To prevent in advance occurrence of troubles such as paper jams by forming projections on the Inside face of a first cover member within the housing, and forming openings to be engageable with the projections on a second cover member. CONSTITUTION:A paper guide 6 is a second cover member having a main body covet 2 provided inside of a first cover member, when troubles such as paper jams occur, a necessary operation is carried out by successively opening the main body cover 2 and paper guide 6. A replacement of consumption goods such as a cartridge or the like, or process cartridge is implemented by removing the paper feeding device and by opening the main body cover 2. The printer 1 includes the main body cover 2 pivoted on the end part of the housing 3. and the main body cover 2 is openable with respect to the housing 3. Projectingly provided on the rear side of the main body cover 2 are ribs 2a, 2b, 2c, to which openings 3a, 3b, 3c are correspondingly formed on the printer main body side. |
