PURPOSE: To shorten the read processing time of time data by reading data on hours and data on minutes out only once, reading data on seconds once before and after the above read, and judging whether the data on the seconds which are read twice in coincidence each other. CONSTITUTION: The CPU 13 of a facsimile part 1 reads the second data out of the time counter of a timer IC 21 in parallel and stores them in an S area of a RAM 12. The CPU 13 reads the minute data and hour data out of the time counter in parallel and stores them in an M area and an H area of the RAM 12 respectively. Then the CPU 13 reads the second data out of the time counter again in parallel and stores them in a specific area of the RAM 3. Then the CPU 13 compares the second data stored in the S area of the RAM 12 with the second data stored in the register of the CPU 13. When both match each other, time data displayed in a time display screen of a display 11 are updated. |
