A portable terminal device is provided to allow a user to offer various kinds of identification information by using a plurality of light-emitting parts and an individual light-emitting part, which controls the light-emitting parts. A portable terminal device includes a terminal body. A key pad(110) is disposed at a front side of a lower portion of the terminal body. A display unit is installed above the key pad to show visual information concentratively. The key pad includes a cover(101A) having at least one transparent region, a touch sensor(130) positioned below the cover to sense the touch applied to the cover, and a plurality of light-emitting parts(131) positioned below the touch sensor. The key pad further includes an individual lighting part while performing an input operation through touch. The individual lighting part provides identification signals to a user by turning on or off at least one of the plurality of light-emitting parts. |
