An aerosol shaving foam of excellent lubricity, adherence to skin, razor glide and comfort of shave delivered via a creamy foam is produced from an aqueous formulation comprising a fatty acid soap a secondary synthetic anionic surfactant, a film former and a porous polyamide powder (Nylon). Inclusion of Glycerine and Silicone further increase the quality of foam and comfort of shave. The formulation encompassing the above is delivered via the following two routes: (I) Oil-in-water emulsion type formulation. (II) Oil-free type formulation.
