Automatic main distributing frame control system for use in telephone network

The main distributing frame control system has a number of matrix openings aligned with the intersections between 2 sets of wires, with a robot used for insertion of electrical connector pins in the openings, for coupling the intersecting wires, under control of robot commands corresponding to the required telephone connections. The path data is arranged in sequence for minimizing the robot movement distances.
