In a pair of magnetically linked rotor poles (8,8z2), the first pole (8), with a first range of airgaps, is submitted to the direct influence of a first face (S) of a permanent magnet (11). The second pole (8z2), with a second range of airgaps, is submitted to the influence of a rotor winding (14) fed with D.C. current via brushes (15) and rings (16), the latter being fixed onto the rotor crown (13). The permanent magnet (11) has a magnetizing direction between a direction Z and a direction Y.
