The invention concerns a binder for a large bale 7 of cellulose sheets comprising the conveyor 1 for the bales 2 with a press 3 for pressing the bales 2 to form compressed bales 4, followed by grouping equipment where the individual bales 4 are assembled to form a larger unit, i.e. a large bale 5 which is then moved to a packing station and a binding station. The invention also covers a procedure in which several pressed but unbound cellulose-sheet bales 4 are assembled to form a large bale 5 which is inserted into a protective wrapping 6 and bound. The invention concerns in addition a large cellulose bale 5 consisting of two or more pressed but unbound individual bales 4 of cellulose sheets, which large bale 5 is inserted into a a protective wrapping and bound. <IMAGE>
