Air is circulated to plants growing in a sealed container via cavities between its inner and outer walls (2,3,7,8) and outer and inner top (1,5). Air is circulated by fans (9,10) past temperature controllers (11,12) and enters through ventilation holes (6). Lamps (13) are a mix of high-pressure sodium vapor and halogen to simulate diurnal variation of natural light.
