<p>A frame movement command device for an embroidery machine capable of controlling the movement of an embroidery frame according to a signal outputted from a frame drive means by operation of a frame movement command switch, wherein the frame movement command switch has an operating section that can be inclined in multiple directions, and a signal for moving the embroidery frame in the direction corresponding to the direction in which the operating section is inclined is outputted from the frame drive means. By adopting such a structure, the embroidery frame can be moved in the direction corresponding to the direction in which the operating section of the frame movement command switch is inclined. Therefore the operator can make a switch operation correctly corresponding to the direction in which the operator desires to move the embroidery frame, only relying on the sense of the tip of the finger touching the operating section without viewing the frame movement command switch. As a result, the operator can move the embroidery frame in an arbitrary direction while viewing the lower part of a machine head.</p> |
