PURPOSE: A battery booster for a vehicle is provided to safely and simply charge a discharged battery without a separate booster cable by attaching a circuit for preventing an electric shock in a battery booster. CONSTITUTION: A battery booster for a vehicle comprises a power supply cable(7), a relay, and a power supply terminal(24). One end of the power supply cable is connected with positive terminal and negative terminal of a battery(2) via a power interrupt device(3) and an alternator(4). Jacks having a sensor are formed on the other end of the power supply cable. The power supply cable is elastically wound and withdrawn from a cable storing case. The relay is operated by a connection informing switch to determine the power supply of the power interrupt device. The power supply terminal receives power from another vehicle.
