The border (100) around an opening (2) in especially a roof underlay has a clamping ring (5) with an encompassing flange forming a base surface and upon which is fitted an additional fixing element (7). An additional clamping ring (6) is seated on the first and also has a flange upon which is fitted a fixing element (17) compatible to the fixing element of the first clamping ring. Both clamping rings have several clips or clamps (11.1-11.3) on the free encompassing inner edge (8,18) so that the edge of the opening in the underlay is held by the clips or clamps and by the fixing elements on the flanges.
