PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably maintain a manual paper feed tray openably installed on the side surface of a device body in a use state and a stored state by a simple structure without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: An extension tray 12 is so installed as to be extracted from and inserted into a tray body 11, and biased outward by a pressing spring 13. A lock piece 22 is extended from the peripheral edge of a recess 21 for storing the manual insertion tray 1 therein to the inside of the recess 21. When the manual paper feed tray 1 is stored, the extension tray 12 projecting from the tray body 11 abuts on the lock piece 22 to stop the rotation of the manual paper feed tray, and the stored state of the tray is maintained. When the manual paper feed tray 1 in the stored state is brought into the use state, the extension tray 12 is pushed into the tray body 11 against the pressing spring 13 to release the contact of the extension tray 12 on the lock piece 22.
