A storage system for a liquefied natural gas is provided to reduce the residual stress due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient by forming a second wall of a metal plate. A storage system for a liquefied natural gas includes a first wall(10), a first fly wood(20), a first insulation layer(30), a second wall(40), a second insulation layer(50), and a second fly wood(60). The first wall makes contact with the LNG and stores the LNG. The first fly wood is mounted to the rear surface of the first wall. The first insulation layer has a plurality of unit insulation blocks. The second wall includes a plurality of first metal wall plates(42), a plurality of second metal wall plates(44), and a third metal wall plate(46). The second insulation layer has a plurality of second unit insulation blocks arranged on the rear surface of the second wall. The second fly wood is mounted to the rear surface of the second insulation layer.
