FIELD: hydro-acoustics, possible use for developing hydro-acoustic range-finding systems with increased precision and range of action, meant for operation in bodies of water of shallow sea type with large dispersion distortions of acoustic signal. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, at the object being controlled, periodical impulse acoustic signal is generated and emitted. Radiation of acoustic signal is synchronized with time count start in receipt point at object being controlled. At object being controlled acoustic signal is received by two receivers, mounted at a distance which is less than wave length of signal being emitted. Receivers are positioned directly on the soil. As one of receivers, vector receiver of oscillation speed is used, and as second receiver, non-directional receiver of sound pressure is used. On basis of measured parameters, with consideration of preliminarily measured density and speed of sound in bottom layer of water, and also density and speed of longitudinal waves in soil, distance to object is determined. ^ EFFECT: reduced error of measurements. |
