PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel which has no burrs on a reel plate front surface side at their outer edges. SOLUTION: A reel plate 54 is made by punching out an SPCC sheet 122 by using a press 120. A small diameter section 132A of the through hole 132 and the open hole 131 are formed by punching from below the sheet 122 to up (as arrow A), and the edge of the reel plate 54 is punched from above the sheet 122 to down (reverse to arrow A). Since the surface 54A of the reel plate 54 is at upside when placed on the die 140, burrs on the edge of the reel plate 54 are produced toward the back surface 54B of the reel plate 54, and no burrs are produced on the front surface 54A.
