PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program crash monitoring device or the like capable of detecting the crash of a program though an occupancy area in a memory is minimum. SOLUTION: A hardware rebooting device 20 includes a hardware 24, a plurality of tasks 1 to n to be executed in a stipulated order, and a monitoring program 26 for monitoring the crash of the tasks 1 or the like. The respective tasks 1 to n are configured so as to input a first reference value to a common memory area 22a at a first time interval stipulated beforehand. The monitoring program 26 is configured to refer to the input value of the common memory area 22a at a second time interval stipulated as time longer than the first time interval, input a second reference value to the common memory area 22a when the input value is the first reference value, and determine the crash of the tasks 1 to n when the input value is the second reference value.
