PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage control device which controls the number of commands issued in multiple from an upper device without stopping the upper device. SOLUTION: A communication port 1A of the storage control device 1 and each host 2 perform communication by an iSCSI protocol. Command processing resources PR are managed by every communication port. A resource allocation control section 1E computes the receivable number based on; remaining amounts of command processing resources PR in port common resources 1F; change of the number of commands received from a host 2; communication delay time; an execution state of commands issued from the host 2, etc. MaxCmdSN is computed by adding the result of command processing by the command execution section 1B and the receivable number computed by the resource allocation control section 1E to the latest value of CmdSN received from the host 2.
