PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily process, share and distribute content data without imposing a load on a user. SOLUTION: As content processing is requested by using a client device 12 having a Web browser function, simple and interactive processing using an existing interface becomes possible without requiring a user to execute complicated processing procedures. As the contents transmitted from media servers 11a-11c, which are connected to other networks, are transmitted to a media player 31 by means of a proxy device 30 connected to the same network as the media player 31, the contents, which are connected to different networks, can be shared by operating a general-purpose media player without requiring, to a user, complicated knowledge and operations which are executed by operating a personal computer or the like.
