PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image control system capable of reducing the labor of work and adjusting setting of an image display device to the setting contents equal to those of another image display device or the previous image display device when controlling the setting of the image display device, and to provide an image display device. SOLUTION: The image display device 1 stores the setting information regulating the display state of the image to be displayed in a memory section 13. An information processor 2 connected via a communication interface 17 reads the setting information from the memory section 13 and the content of the setting information is changed by the information processor 2 and the changed content is returned to the memory section 13. A user is capable of controlling the setting content of the image display device 1 by using the information processor 2 capable of changing the setting information. The setting information read out from the other image display device or the previously read out setting information is stored in the memory section 13, and thereby the image display device 1 is controlled to the setting content equal to that of the other image display device device or the previous image display device 1.
