PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispersing a silver halide emulsion prepared in an aqueous system in an organic solvent system with hydrophilic and hydrophobic two synthetic polymers, and to provide a heat developable photosensitive material using the silver halide emulsion dispersed in the organic solvent system and having low fog and high covering power. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material containing photosensitive silver halide grains contains specific acrylic acid-based polymers each containing a structural unit of hydrophilic ethyleneoxy and propyleneoxy groups.
