PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an insulating layer on the inner surface of a container for containing a metal deposition film capacitor element easily at a low cost so that a gap is not formed. SOLUTION: In the metal deposition film capacitor where a plurality of capacitor elements obtained by winding a metal deposition film and forming an electrode on the end face by thermally spraying metal are contained in a container while connecting the lead wire with the electrode and wire-connecting the elements, the inner surface of the container is entirely coated with epoxy based, polyurethane based or acryl based bridged insulating paint. Consequently, a temperature rise of the capacitor is suppressed and impulse breakdown voltage characteristics are enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
