The invention relates to a flexible conductor having a connector at the end thereof. Said connector can be used to provide a secure, insulated contact between the cable and a duct using an intermediate part in which the ends to be joined are housed and in which both the electrical and the mechanical connections are made by means of soldering, set screws and sealing. The connecting part is covered with a heat seal strip which insulates the unit.
