PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a radio train control system which guarantees stable communication which does not break off even in such conditions since there is a possibility that information until communication is established after switching frequencies may stop when a frequency for an on-vehicle apparatus to perform communication is determined on the basis of frequency switching information from a ground apparatus. SOLUTION: The radio train control system is provided with: a base station control station 101; a data base 102 corresponding to base stations/positions/communication frequencies and a plurality of base stations 201-212; and a mobile object 501 comprised of a plurality of mobile stations 301-304, a mobile station control station 401, and a train position detection means 402 as a mobile communication system, wherein the base station control station 101 is provided with a data base 102 corresponding to base stations/positions, a base station for transmitting information is selected according to a position of a train to transmit the information before establishing communication between a mobile station and the base station.
