PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify other people in a house that a fire has occurred even when one of the people in the house pushes a button in response to a warning sound. SOLUTION: When an alarm stop button 150 of an intercom master unit 1 is pushed while the intercom muster unit 1 connectable to a doorphone slave unit 2 and each of all fire alarms 3, 3, 3 are giving an alarm, the intercom master unit 1 stops its own warning sound, determines whether the alarm stop button 150 has been pushed for a predetermined time or longer. When the button has been pushed for the predetermined time or longer, a display screen for a video display monitor 12 is initialized to transmit an alarm stop signal to all the fire alarms 3, 3, 3. The fire alarms 3, 3, 3 having received the alarm stop signal stop warning sound output and blinks of indicators. When the alarm stop button 150 has not been pushed for the predetermined time, the intercom master unit 1 controls the video display monitor 12 to display a fire alarm 3 having detected the fire first.
