A dust bin installation structure in a vacuum cleaner is provided to fix a dust bin in the cleaner body firmly by restricting the dust bin from both the vertical and horizontal directions. A dust bin installation structure in a vacuum cleaner comprises a main body(600) in which a settling portion(609) is formed, and a dust bin placed in the settling portion. A protrusions is formed on the front and back of one of the settling portion and dust bin, and a first groove corresponding to the protrusion is formed on the other. A button(630) moving up and down is installed in the settling portion, and a second groove corresponding to the button is formed on the dust bin.
