<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved support coil which can be manufactured at a low cost, highly reliably withstand against a compression force acting on the radial direction from outside, and can be readily released with a small release force to be easily removed from a tube material. <P>SOLUTION: The tube-shaped support coil 1 for supporting the elastically expanded tube material 8 in the radial direction includes at least one extrusion molding 2 wound to form a plurality of windings 33. The mutual end surfaces 3, 4 of the extrusion molded body are connected with each other at least at a plurality of sections in the vertical direction L of the support coil and locked with each other by rachet structures 12, 13 in the vertical direction, furthermore by tongue pieces and groove structures 10, 11 in the radial direction. The tongue pieces and the groove structures 10, 11 are spatially separated from the rachet structures 12, 13 so as to highly reliably withstand against the compression force of the expanded tube material and to obtain the support coil to be easily removed from the tube material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
