Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a method and device for selecting an anchor master, capable of keeping time sync between devices in an NAN cluster. The method comprises: a device receives an NAN beacon frame carrying first AM information and first TSF information, the first AM information comprising a first AMR, a first HC, and a first AMBTT; if the NAN beacon frame is used for selecting AM, then the device switches the role thereof to AM when the first AMR is less than a second AMR and the MR of the device is greater than the first AMR, the second AM information recorded by the device comprising a second AMR, a second HC, and a second AMBTT; if the NAN beacon frame is used for selecting AM, then when the first AMR is less than the second AMR and the MR of the device is less than the first AMR, the device, according to the NAN beacon frame, updates the second AM information and second TSF information recorded by the device. |
