摘要 A child seat includes a seat portion and an anchoring harness. The seat portion has a lower surface facing downward, an upper surface facing upward for providing sitting support, a rear edge defining a rear border of the lower and upper surfaces, and a slot formed through the seat portion and opened on the lower and upper surfaces, the slot being located adjacent to the rear edge. The anchoring harness is routed through the slot and extends outward on the lower and upper surfaces. The anchoring harness includes a first and a second end, the first end having a fastener operable to attach with an external anchorage fixture, and the second end being positioned across the slot adjacent to the upper or lower surface, the second end being in obstructing contact against a region of the seat portion around the slot to retain the anchoring harness with the seat portion.

A child seat comprising: a seat portion having a lower surface facing downward, an upper surface facing upward for providing sitting support, a rear edge connecting with the lower and upper surfaces and defining a rear border of the lower and upper surfaces, and a slot formed through the seat portion and opened on the lower and upper surfaces, the slot being located adjacent to the rear edge, the slot having a lower and an upper end respectively exposed outward on the lower and upper surfaces, the upper end of the slot facing upward and the lower end of the slot facing downward; and an anchoring harness including a first and a second end opposite to each other, and a strap extending between the first and second ends of the anchoring harness, the first end of the anchoring harness being provided with a fastener operable to attach with an external anchorage fixture for holding the child seat in place, the strap of the anchoring harness being routed through the slot substantially vertically from the lower end to the upper end thereof and extending outward on the lower surface and the upper surface, and the second end of the anchoring harness being positioned at either of the upper end of the slot adjacent to the upper surface and the lower end of the slot adjacent to the lower surface, the second end of the anchoring harness being provided with a structure that is positioned outside the slot in contact against either of the upper and lower end of the slot to retain the anchoring harness with the seat portion.
