PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus provided with a separation member capable of reliably separating sheets conveyed by a pickup roller regardless of types such as thickness, weight and stiffness and size of sheets.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 1 comprises a separation roller 120 which is rotationally driven, and a separation member 130 which is provided so as to be able to approach or be separated from the separation roller 120 and gives frictional resistance to a sheet S conveyed between the separation roller 120 and itself. The separation member 130 includes: an inclination member 131 which has an inclined surface 131A inclined with respect to the width direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sheet S and is provided so as to be movable in the width direction by being pressed by the separation roller 120; a first energization member 144 which applies an energization force so that the inclination member 131 and the separation member 120 are brought into pressure-contact with each other; and a second energization member 134 which energizes the inclination member 131 in the direction reverse to the movement direction of the inclination member 131 at the time when the sheet S is nipped by the separation roller 120 and the separation member 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
