The present invention provides a friction stir projection welder for bonding a nut, which can weld the nut, composed of various materials, on a chassis panel, composed of a new material such as high tensile steel, coated steel plate, and alloy plate. The present invention is configured of an upper tool and a lower tool for holding the nut and the chassis panel, wherein the upper tool includes: a rotor provided with a nut fixating unit; and a pressing sleeve provided with a fixating member and a spring on the outside, and the lower tool includes: a nut fixating pin; the rotor to which a fixating unit is coupled where a spring is attached to the fixating unit; and a panel fixating unit provided with vacuum absorption holes for fixating the chassis panel on the outside. The present invention provides the friction stir projection welder for bonding the nut, which can largely enhance welding quality because of providing a firm bonding state as well as can be applied in welding the new material such as the high tensile steel plate, the coated steel plate, aluminum, magnesium, and lightweight alloy in accordance with weight lightening of car materials, and can weld the nut, composed of various materials, on the chassis panel, composed of the high tensile steel, the coated steel plate and by frictional heat generated by action of contact and rotation of the materials, which is core technology of the friction stir welding, thereby enhancing competitiveness in the automotive industry. |
