PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device obtaining a good steering feeling.SOLUTION: A steering device includes: a rack shaft 10 which steers steering wheels by reciprocating; a cylindrical housing 20 which stores the rack shaft 10 so as to freely reciprocate, and is fixed to a vehicle body; a free piston 41 which the rack shaft 10 slidably penetrate, is provided in the housing 20 so as to move in an axial direction, and divides the housing into a first fluid chamber 51 on a left side and a second fluid chamber 52 on a right side; a left abutting portion 61 which is fixed to the rack shaft 10 at a predetermined interval on a left side of the free piston 41 at the time of neutral, and abuts on the free piston 41 when moving to a right side of the rack shaft 10; a right abutting portion 62 which is fixed to the rack shaft 10 at a predetermined interval on a right side of the free piston 41 at the time of neutral, and abuts on the free piston 41 when moving to a left side of the rack shaft 10; a first fluid sealed in the first fluid chamber 51 and capable of being compressed in the axial direction; and a second fluid sealed in the second fluid chamber 52 and capable of being compressed in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
