<p>The device for straightening warped door leaves consists of a base plate (16) screwed to one end of the warped door leaf and anchored securely by studs (23). On the opposite surface of the plate (16), a bush (24) is welded-on, with an opening large enough to give free passage for a threaded bolt (30). On the bottom end of the bush a nut (20) is welded, working together with the threads of a bolt (30). The free end of the bolt is engaged with the threads of the bush (18), not connected to the base plate (16) but carrying a welded-on bar (12), connected at its other end to the opposite end of the warped leaf area.</p> |
