摘要 <p>The mechanism is intended for controlling injection timing in a compression-ignition engine in which the camshaft driving the fuel injection pump is itself driven via a coupling. The output disc of this coupling is rotationally adjustable relative to the input disc (13) by axial movement of a nut (4) engaged by a screw spindle (3) of a step motor controlled as a function of engine parameters. The non-rotatable nut carries a rotatable member (7) with pivoted outward levers (8) at an angle to the coupling axis. The end of each lever has two pivoted links (11,12) pivoted to the input (13) and to the output disc respectively. Axial movement of the nut produces relative angular adjustment of the discs.</p>
