A screen printing frame comprises a relatively rigid support for the printing block and a surrounding frame to which this support is attached by an elastic surround. This elastic surround is located at most on two sides of the support, the other two sides being connected directly to the frame. Preferably, the elastic surround is attached along one or both longitudinal sides parallel to the direction of scraping. In another variant, the two sides having an elastic support meet at right angles, i.e. are adjacent. The elastic surround is pref. of a polyester or polyamide woven fabric or elastic foil, furnished in the inner zone with a solvent resistant foil but exposed in the outer zone.
