<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the interference between a hood section and a vehicle body during opening and closing thereof by providing such an arrangement that a pin is slidably displaced in an elongated hole by the push-up force of a cam section so as to move the proximal end of a link in order to lift up the hood section while it is moved forward. CONSTITUTION:Of a pair of links 27, 28 disposed in crossing on a base 22, the link 27 has a proximal end part 29 which is journaled rotatably in the longitudinal direction by means of a pin 30 in an elongated hole 26. When the opening manipulation N for a hood 9 is carried out, the pin 20 is slidably displaced upward in the elongated hole 26 by the upward push-up force of a cam section 36 which is caused by the rotation of the links 27, 28 so that the proximal end part 29 of the link 27 is moved upward. At this time, the rear end part 10 of the hood 9 goes away from an window panel 3 while it is moved forward of the vehicle body so that it is lifted up by a height corresponding to the length of the elongated hole 26. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the interference between the rear end of the hood and the vehicle body, and further it is possible to increase the freedom of the molding and the layout.</p> |
