PURPOSE:To downsize a coil bobbin by placing a driven means to be engaged with an external driving means in a recess of an outer flange. CONSTITUTION:A set of outer flange parts 11, 12 and an intermediate flange part 13 of a coil bobbin 1 having a through hole 16 penetrating through one side of a closed loop core M are formed coaxially and integrally by coil winding parts 14, 14'. Recesses 11h, 12h are made inwardly in the outer side faces of the outer flange parts 11, 12 and irregular part of triangular wave, i.e., driven parts 11g, 12g, are formed on the bottom of the recesses 11h, 12h. When a coil C is wound around the coil bobbin 1, start-of-winding of the coil C is tied to a pin terminal and the driving part (d) of a driving means D is pressed against the driven parts 11g, 12g formed on the outer flange parts 11, 12 and then the coil bobbin l is turned to wind the coil C around the coil winding parts 14, 14'. This constitution allows shortening of the coil bobbin in the longitudinal direction and realizes a compact electromagnetic appliance incorporating a coil bobbin. |
