A floating matter disposal facility for a small river is provided to filter out floating matters simply and effectively by guiding to an auxiliary channel, to minimize the manpower, time and cost required for removing the floating matters and to prevent water pollution effectively. The floating matter disposal facility for a small river contains an auxiliary channel(10) formed by widening the width of a river(1) over the appointed section, a median separating retaining wall(20) installed to the center of the river on which the auxiliary channel is formed in the longitudinal direction to divide the river, a water gate(30) installed to one end of the median separating retaining wall to open or close a channel selectively to control the flow direction of water, a filter(40) installed to the other end of the median separating retaining wall to filter out floating matters such as the branches of a tree or floating wastes, and primary and secondary controllers(35,45) placed on the outside of a river adjacent to the water gate and the filter to control the movement of the water gate and the filter and composed of a motor, driving units(350,450) provided with a take-up drum rotated by the motor and wires(352,452) wound or unwound on or from the take-up drum of the driving units to limit the movement of the water gate or the filter. |
