A device for fastening rails (3) on lateral stop plates (12) and Y-shaped steel sleepers (1) provided with a slot (14) that extends in the direction of the sleepers has spikes (5) arranged on both sides of the rail between the rail base (8) and the stop plates (12). The spikes clamp the rail base (8) on the sleeper by means of resilient spikes (7) supported on bearing blocks (10). A bottom inclined sole-plate (13) and a top cushioning plate (15) are arranged between the rail (3) and the sleeper. In order to develop further such a device, so that all its parts are reliably retained in the premounted state, in which the clamping spikes are drawn back, without additional parts nor steps, the inclined sole-plate (13) has a central beam (14) that extends into the slot (4) of the sleeper and vertical side walls (16) that encircle the rail base (8) on both sides. The inclined sole-plate (13) and the cushioning plate (15) are gripped by heels (17) of the bearing blocks (10) supported against the rail base (8). |
