PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method of supplying a constant volume of powder to a powder spray gun. SOLUTION: The constitution includes an inlet 24 which receives the compressed air stream at one end, an outlet 22 at the other end, an outlet tube 20 provided with a powder inlet between the inlet 24 and the outlet 22, which receives the powder metered and supplied from a storage section 16 of the powder, and the power metering and supplying system 18 which meters and supplies the powder through the powder metering and supplying system 18 which meters and supplies the powder through the powder inlet in a stream of the air. And a pressure equalizing system that prevents powder leakage across a powder metering system 18 that meters powders from a reservoir into an outlet tube 20 carrying the constant velocity stream of air, and a rate control system that meters and supply powders into the outlet tube so that the mass of the powder flow exiting the outlet tube remains constant are disclosed. |
