<p>PURPOSE: To perform handwriting input and a pointing process without putting a touch pen away from the hand by enabling the touch pen to be inserted into the opening part of the mechanism part of a joy stick incorporated in a main body case. CONSTITUTION: This information processor consists of a display part 1, the touch pen 2, the joy stick 3, and a touch pen storage part. For data input, an operator performs handwriting input on a display part 1 with the touch pen 2 since a digitizer for recognizing character input is arranged on the reverse side of the display part 1, and then the character is recognized and displayed at a position indicated with a cursor. Then the operator when moving the cursor to another position fits the touch pen 2 in the opening part of the joy stick 3 and rotates the touch pen 2 in the up and down, and right and left directions, so that the cursor is moved in the X direction and Y direction according to the directions. After the operation, the touch pen 2 is put in the touch pen storage part 4.</p> |
