The arrangement has a first plug (1) with a first insulating connector casing (2), a second plug (5) with a second connector casing (6) complementary to the first casing, and a coupling aid (3). Both casings have steering cams (11), which engage respective control surface areas (9,10) of the coupling aid in such a way, that a movement of the first connector casing in plugging direction causes a relative, opposite movement of the second connector casing. The connector arrangement includes a first plug (1) with a first insulating connector casing (2), a second plug (5) with a second connector casing (6) complementary to the first connector casing, and a coupling aid (3) for a plugged recording of the first and the second plug connector casing. Both connector casings have steering cams (11), which engage respective control surface areas (9,10) of the coupling aid in such a way, that a movement of the first connector casing in plugging direction controls a relative movement of the coupling aid, which in turn controls a movement of the second connector casing against the plugging direction of the first connector casing. The coupling aid has a tubular cross-section with a longitudinal axis in the plugging direction to accommodate the first and the second connector casing. The relative movement of the coupling aid is a rotation around its own longitudinal axis.
