A profiled pipe (1) used as a distributor forming part of an underfloor central heating system, has a cornered outer contour with flat outer surfaces (2) for external pipe fittings. The pipe has a number of side inlets and outlets with cylindrical (7) threads for a threaded outer bush (9) which is irremovable from the pipe (1) cylindrical section (7). The locking bush is held against the cylindrical (7) section by a steel ring.
