PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roasting flavor which has a new, rich, good, and strong roasting flavor having excellent stability, to provide a flavor composition containing the same, and to provide a food containing the same. SOLUTION: This roasting flavor comprises the dry distillate of grains, beans or caryopses. When the roasting flavor is compounded with a flavor composition and then added to a food, a good roasting flavor is imparted to the food to improve its palatability. |
