PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily deal with the process of changing the treatment amounts and treatment systems of chemical apparatus, water purification and waste water treatment apparatus, and the like, in the caseof such change by forming basic modules to a tank shape and combining a plurality of such basic modules. SOLUTION: The multipurpose module tank 1 (system tank) is constituted by decreasing the connecting sections of piping and combining a plurality of the basic modules 3 by directly joining these modules with connectors 2. For example, the basic module 3 of the first tank I is designed as a receiving tank for raw water, and the like, from which solids and the precipitate of sludge are withdrawn by opening a valve 5 at its bottom. Supernatant is allowed to flow from the connector 2 in the upper part into the basic module 3 of the second tank II existing adjacent to the tank described above. Further, the solids and the sludge are settled and separated in the second tank II as well and, thereafter, the supernatant is allowed to flow from the connector 2 in the upper part into the basic module 3 of the third second tank III existing adjacent thereto and the clean treated water, and the like are discharged from the valve 5 at the bottom. |
