PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and good gas meter packing box which prevents a received gas meter from rattling due to vibration or the like during transportation. SOLUTION: The gas meter packing box 11 includes a base plate 15 which is placed on a bottom 13a of a box body 13 for regulating fore-and-aft movement of the gas meter of a lower part of each gas meter by a meter lower part support 15a formed by folding, which comes into contact with the lower part of the meter, partitions 17 and 18 interposed between adjacent gas meters 1 and 1 and assembled with the base plate 15 to prevent the gas meters 1 and 1 from coming into contact with each other, and a top plate 23 formed on each flap 23b with a pair of support holes 23c and 23c for fitting mouthpieces 1b and 1c according to an interval between the adjacent meters 1 and 1 for regulating horizontal movement of upper parts of the adjacent meters by fitting the mouthpieces 1b and 1c of the respective gas meters 1 into the support holes 23c and 23c. |
