The camshaft drive for at least one camshaft providing an oscillating torque (1) is additionally coupled to at least one further driven unit, e.g. a piston pump, with the oscillating torque of the camshaft and the loading of the further driven unit at least partially superimposed in opposition to one another. A phase adjuster can be inserted between the camshaft drive and the further driven unit.
