The device has a U-shaped sleeve (4) open on a larger side. The sleeve has a flat bottom extending from each side by two small sides that are bulged towards the inside. The small sides extend by wings that are bulged towards the outside and have extensions (8) that project outside and are terminated by a fold towards inside. Each small side and extension is configured to slide under a free edge of a preformed furring and against a stop of the edge, respectively.
