GLASS YARN, METHOD OF WINDING THE SAME AND GLASS YARN PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass yarn having small variation of running property when used as the weft and small twist count, a method of winding the same and a glass yarn package. SOLUTION: The glass yarn is twisted at≤0.5 turns/inch average twist count, where the coefficient of variation of the twist count is≤20%. In the method of winding the glass yarn, the glass yarn is wound to be twisted at≤0.5 turns/inch average twist count using a yarn twister in which the radius (r) of a ring of a twisting part is≥90 mm. The glass yarn package is formed by winding the yarn twisted at≤0.5 turns/inch average twist count, where the coefficient of variation of the twist count is≤20%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
